If you are wanting to check out some awesome cars, downtown Asheboro is the place to be. The third Friday of every month, cars old and unique will be downtown in the parking lot of Asheboro/Randolph Chamber of Commerce. A great evening on the 17th, as patrons young and old came out to see these great vehicles. There were Studebakers, Stutz, Chevys, Fords, Chrysler, Ferrari's, Volkswagen and much more. Also, WZOO radio was there cranking out good music. Plus, you have a chance to win a brand new GM crate motor. All proceeds from tickets sold, go to the Randolph County Veterans Council.
